On 17th July we are holding a “Party in the Park event” at Waverhill park between 11-3.30pm. We want more families to use the park. For this reason we are hoping to get the local community involved by having a fun day that will provide , information,arts and craft and activities for adults and children.
Soho finger and Gib Heath Neighbourhood Management has been working closely with West Midlands Police over the past 18 months to address issues of anti social behaviour and drinking at Waverhill Park.

There has been steady progress with the installment of a dome-hawk camera as well as the area becoming an alcohol restriction zone. A number of arrest has been made since these measures have been implemented. However, in order to make the park a more secure, safe and clean environment for local residents we aim to work with local residents to develop and support a friends of Waverhill Park group. The group will play a key role in helping to tackle anti social behaviour allowing more residents to use the park.
