In the glorious sunshine 180 children from the Soho Ward took part in the 2nd Soho Games – an inter school sports competition that enables children to experience top quality competitive activities including football, athletics,uni-hockey and handball. The Games were organised by a partnership between Ladywood Constituency team/Neighbourhood Management , the local charity Sport 4 Life, and the Soho Links Cluster, and were attended by Benson, Wattville, James Watt, Matthew Boulton, Foundry and St James primary schools.

It is good for Birmingham that we get a complete and successful census, because the more people counted the more money the City receives. It is mandatory to complete the questionnaire, failure to do so can lead to a £1000 fine

You can help make the census in Birmingham a success by completing the  census questionnaire and assisting those around you to do likewise. There are residents whose first language isn’t English who may need your help or support from the census team in completing census questionnaire-click on link for more information and contact details   2011 Census.
